What to bring baby home in?

Hey y’all! This might be a silly question but I’m stuck on it! We live in Pa and I’ve never had a newborn in the summer! It’s been consistent 80-90’s here lately. Trying to decide what I want to bring baby girl home in. Thoughts?

Onsie with a light receiving blanket over top in case. I live in NY and feel you on the weather lol

I always go for a sleeper ♥️ light sleeper if it’s warm out. Just seems cozy and keeps baby warm if the car is cold.

Rule of thumb I used for my son was one layer more than what I was comfortable in. So since we will be in AC of hospital/car/straight into car I will probably either do a light long sleeve/long pant or shorties with a light blanket. I’m going to pack a few options though.

I’m in NJ (similar temp) and I’m gonna put baby in onesie and leggings. We’re gonna be in the car with ac on and also for sun protection the 5 minutes we’ll be outside. If the baby gets warm you can always take the pants off👌🏼

I am also in PA (southeast PA outside of Philadelphia) and we are planning a onesie with pants. We figure we will constantly be in an air conditioned environment like the car and our house, even though it will be very hot outside!

Hey! I’m due 8/17 and live in PA as well. I saw someone point out that though it is warm, we’re typically bringing baby from an air controlled climate to an air conditioned car and into an air conditioned home, so to wear something on the bottom or to use a blanket anyway.
My hubby and I haven’t decided between shorts or pants yet, but we also figured it’d be more comfortable than their (gender neutral singular use) little legs rubbing on the car seat buckle.
