It could be infection. You should get tested. But I can also be from prenatal vitamins. Your body can only absorb so much of some vitamins per day, so if you’re getting them from your diet and your prenatals, the excess will be excreted. Mostly in urine, but sometimes in other body fluids as well, like discharge or even saliva. (My saliva always tastes a little metallic when I’m taking iron supplements.)
