Meet me and our Angel 👼🏼

Kayla

Hello! This is my first time posting on here (Sorry for the long post). Here’s my story. My husband and I tried to conceive our first for almost 6 years. August 17, 2018 we were shocked and over the moon when we saw PREGNANT! At 12 weeks we announced and at 13 weeks we found out we were having a girl. The very next day at our ultrasound appointment we found out that our baby girl had skeletal dysplasia. After genetic testing, we found out she has osteogenesis imperfecta type 2 (a fatal type of skeletal dysplasia). We tried to enjoy every moment that we had with her even though we knew the outcome. Fast forward to 41 weeks; May 1, 2019 my water broke at 6:30pm. On May 2 our baby girl; Emma was born at 12:07am. Weighing 2 lbs 9 oz and was 12.5 inches long. We got about 40 amazing minutes with our fighter. It has been an incredibly hard time for us. I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience?
