Pregnant and my boyfriend is controlling

So ill try to keep this short, but my boyfriend has always been controlling I just never saw it because of the “honeymoon phase” I just honestly thought we were really close and shared everything. But now I’m 17 weeks pregnant and I’ve been told this week that I’m not wearing something because its too short (which once I tried them on they weren’t too short) and when I said “I’ll wear what I want when I want” its an issue.

Yesterday I told him to go off and play bingo at the bar with his dad no issues no questions because I trust him, he gets onto me because I talk to the security guard at my work about FINDING MY BOYFRIEND A NEW JOB! How is this fair to me? Not to mention I never even got told if he went or if he stayed home. But did I ask? No because he’s his own person he can do whatever he want.

Please if I am any type of wrong tell me. But we are currently on the rocks, he’s sleeping in the recliner at night and it’s so irritating because the controlling isn’t seen. He doesn’t understand it’s like a blank in his mind when the topic comes up but every argument I cause because I give him my response which is usually bitchy considering what he says to me.

HOW DO YOU BLAME SOMEBODY FOR THEIR RESPONSE WHEN IT CLEARLY MADE ME MAD FOR A REASON.

So at this point do I find somewhere to go and leave him before things get worse? I’ve tried talking and communication but he dodges it every time I bring up the word controlling or denies it until I get fed up and just give up. I’m at a cross roads
