Low thyroid levels?

We went for our first ultrasound yesterday and got to see baby bean for the first time!

We are measuring in at 6 weeks and a day. They drew blood for testing and everything came back normal but the thyroid level.

They basically said that my body isn’t producing enough thyroid hormones and they would like to put me on some medications to help regulate (my levels were 2.9 but they prefer them to be 2.5 or lower). She said low thyroid levels increase miscarriage and that scares me.

Has anyone ever gone on medications for such a thing and continued with a healthy pregnancy?
