Made out with my guy best friend. Do I have feelings for him?

A little background story first, so my best friend and I been friends since freshman year of high school. Now we’re 20 and 21 years old now. In high school I had a huge crush on him and I even told him I like him and he said he like me back but didn’t want to be in a relationship with me because he didn’t want to jeopardize our friendship. He said if we be together and some how break up then our friendship would be ruin. So eventually I ended up cutting him off during our junior year of high school. Then when senior year came we ended up rekindling our friendship and just stayed friends after that.

Now recently we haven’t been talking that much because we’re both been busy with school and work. But the other night we decided to chill and drive around. We ended up at the beach and walked on the broad walk then it started to rain, and ran back to his car. We just chilled there, until he asked me can we make out, and we did.

Now that it happened idk how I feel about him. We both enjoyed it and probably will do it again. I just don’t know if I should bring up old feelings from high school. On top of that he was with this girl on-and-off for about three years and they recently broken up, and I’m wondering if I was just a rebound since they broken up and they probably get back together resulting to my feelings getting hurt. I don’t want to show my feelings towards him right now because he is my friends. Now since we kissed I can’t stop thinking about him.
