Oblivious Husband

I'm getting a c-section done got my information forms that I filled and left them at our office desk to which my hubby never bothered to read through. Then over the weekend he blurts out at his family lunch, "what's there to worry about it's an easy and quick procedure"

Today, I mentioned to him that he has to find it in himself to inform himself since he's going to be part of it and has to be more supportive instead of blurting out ignorant stuff. He got offended and said he says that because inside he gets overly worked up when he has to think about it. He complains to his family about my sleeping habits, he has to tell them every single detail what is going on in our Gyno. Appointments. I know he's excited but his stupid behavior is getting on my nerves. He blurts out insensitive stupid sh.t and he says now I'm the one with the problem. I feel a bit alone, has anyone else this problem?
