2 questions- paci and hitting

So we’re trying to wean the paci and we’re down to just naps and bed time any advice for losing it during those two times?

Second and this one is the worst- he’s hitting and throwing toys when he’s frustrated and we’ve tried time outs but we’re not see results- obviously it

Worse for me than for dad but I need help

I’m nipping this in the bud before we go

Update: we were already down to naps and bed with the paci. Yesterday I just took it and never gave it back after he woke up and he fussed at nap but bed time went right down. I tried the hitting advice of getting up and walking away when he does it and it has gone down a lot. I’m also saying no hit. The toy throwing hasn’t changes but I also blame myself bc we do throw balls and we will toss toys into their bins during clean up. I just have to keep him from throwing them at me. Or other kids.
