Tough decision

I need help on a decision ... the day i cut ties with a guy another dude came into my life that day and ofcourse it’s the wrong time. he’s been wanting to fw me fr and he’s so sweet but i don’t think i can see anybody right now bc if i was in a relationship with new dude i feel like i wouldn’t stop talking or keep thinking about my ex.. so what should i do wait awhile until i get over him or just jump in it and give it a try bc life is short and i don’t wanna miss out on a blessing 😒
