Month long periods.

Ok so when I had my baby in January I bled for about 4ish weeks after being discharged. Then I didn’t have any periods until may. In may my period lasted 2.5 weeks. I called my doc and the nurse told me that I didn’t need to make any appointment because that’s pretty normal after having a baby and going on the birth control that I chose. Ok... June comes around and I had a period for 22 days!!!! And by July, I didn’t even have a full 5 days before my period started up again. I have no clue what’s going on but this can’t be normal can it?!?
