cant breathe

so when me and my bf are making out and things start getting intense he will start kissing me harder and give me longer kisses(if that makes any sense) while I love when he does this I can never breathe! I feel like my nose always ends up pressed up against his face making it near impossible to get any air. I'm not really sure how to prevent that from happening any ideas?
