Tell me your thoughts

I’m turning 18 in a couple of days & I have been seeing a 25 year old guy for at least two months now & every single time a friend of his calls him & hears me they ask “who’s with you?” And the guy I’m seeing says “a friend”.

We are definitely more than friends but it just bothers me that he doesn’t say something like “my girl”. He wants to date me eventually but I feel that something is holding him back...

Maybe he’s ashamed of me?

I don’t think his friend would ask “how old is she?” You know?
