Cry it out in bassinet or crib? (Help!)

We are at 6 months and we are ready for our baby to sleep in her own room in her crib. She has slept in a bassinet right next to me in our room through the night since 2 months old (when I say slept through the night I mean I wake up every few hours to put her binky back in her mouth and she immediately falls back asleep- I never have to take her out of the bassinet to feed/change)

So I am wondering if we want to do CIO should I do it in the bassinet in our room before I put her in the crib or wait until we start to put her in the crib?

Btw she sleeps in her crib in her room for naps- just not at night.
