How long did you wait?

I had my daughter in May 2019 and I had to have a c-section. It took me and my husband almost three years and 1 miscarriage to get pregnant with her and I was wanting to wait a year or year and a half to have another baby, so I was wondering how long did you wait to have another baby?

18 months is recommended to allow your body time to fully heal. We started trying again about 19-20 months after my daughter was born. She was premature and getting pregnant too soon can increase the likelihood of baby being premature—I did not want a repeat.

I’m so close to my baby i can’t imagine Having anymore ! I got my girl 😍but my husband wants to try for a boy 😩so i told him wait til our daughter is in school so about 4-5 years

I got pregnant when my daughter was 1. I’m 26 weeks now. I am excited to give her a sibling but I know this is going to be the most exhausting time of my life, lol.

We had 2 miscarriages before my son was 1.5. So we didn’t try til he turned 2 & I’m now 20 weeks. 
Longer time between, better chance you’ve healed nicely. Drs like to see 1 year. But 1.5 is best. Mine got excited to see I didn’t get pregnant again til after he was 2.

We waited a year. I wanted kids close together but not too close. So by the time this baby comes in October they will be 2 years and 4 months apart which I already love!
