Gripe water? Help plz

I’m pretty sure my baby is having really bad acid reflux I’ve noticed a few symptoms since a few weeks nothing too serious I thought I was being over worried (he’s 6 weeks old) but the symptoms have gotten worse now I feel horrible.I started giving him mylicon drops since about 2/3 weeks now and they help with his gas but not with whatever this is -Which I’m 90% sure is acid reflux 
His symptoms are coughing,Spitting up,choking,tightening his body while eating,being fussy while eating,Hiccups and decreased appetite he also makes these weird noises while trying to eat/drink his bottle. 
Does gripe water/gripe drops help acid reflux and how soon do they work?? Is he not old enough to take grip drops I need any kind of answers please and thanks in advance !!!

Gripe water didnt really help my baby with reflux. He is on Zantac and a GI doctor has prescribed probiotic drops. Mention the symptoms to your pediatrician and they should tell you what you can try. My baby doesnt spit up, but he has all of the other symptoms that you mentioned, started around 5 weeks.

I don't think gripe water helps with reflux. A pediatrician can prescribe something for reflux though. It's been recommended to do paced feedings, extra burps (before, during, and after feedings), and keeping baby upright after each feeding for a while. People have noticed a difference by having their baby sleep on a slight incline as well as reflux meds, paced feedings, extra burps, and keeping an upright position after feedings.
