By homophobic, I mean they have weird ideas about gay people. They say they like gay people just fine, they just don't condone them doing gay things.

By transphobic I mean they think anyone gender non-conforming is brainwashed and "confused".

I think a person with these attitudes is "confused" lol. I think accepting these ideas is very difficult because I think they're extremely harmful to individuals and society, and ultimately they are violent or used to excuse violence against LGBTQ ppl.

I actually think it's completely insane I even feel the need to ask this or discussions about this exist. Like for real, can we all just stop freaking out about gender and sexuality?

We should feel free to experience the truth of both, I don't think it poses any legitimate threat to anyone.

Why Christians? Please. Stahp. I'd like Christianity a lot more if it would let go of hateful anti-LGBTQ & misogynistic ties. And it could. I don't think the Bible actually even means that it's wrong to be homosexual.

Why other religions?
