The Saga Continues: HCG falls then rises

At what I believe was 14 DPO, my hcg was 38. Two days later it dropped to 37. Today, six days after the second test, it was 230. I’ve had intermittent brown spotting the whole time. Anybody else have a similar experience? I am afraid it may be an ectopic pregnancy. 😭
