When will they do iui

Question

I’m currently on my second day of Fermera and go back to dr next Wednesday AM with the ovidrel shot. They are suppose to do an iui but have not said when they would do it. I will call them in the AM but what can I expect?

If ur follicles are a nice size 17 or above they will trigger u and most likely you will do your iui next Thursday

My dominant follicle was about 22-23mm on Sunday, but my bloodwork that day indicated that I wasn’t yet surging on my own. I triggered at 10pm Sunday night and my IUI was today (Tuesday) at 9am, so about 35-36 hours later.

Your doctor will check your follicles at your next appointment and will tell you how you’re progressing. You may trigger right that day if you have at least one follicle approaching 18mm. If your follicles are not big enough yet you’ll go back in a couple days to check them again. I’ve never had an IUI scheduled in advance but perhaps others have.
