My sweet two week old son has been in and out of the hospital. The last trip ended this morning. He has had the hardest time regulating his temperature. When he was born he was technically hypothermic at 97 almost on the dot. He was put on antibiotics and sent home two days later. This last time he had a low grade fever and was hospitalized again. Got further more invasive tests done and put on heavier antibiotics then sent home. He slept a majority of the day I’m assuming because it was the first time in days he wasn’t being woken up every two hours for vitals or more needles. He woke up from his nap and felt a little hot so I took his temp and got 99.4. I am so nervous that it’ll turn into another fever and we’ll have to go back to the ER and he’ll be taken in. It’s been a really rough few weeks for all of us and I just want this to be over. Has anyone been through something like this before or have any advice?
