My 19th birthday..

I don’t know what to do. My boyfriend just told me he’s going to be in Miami with his family the same week that is my birthday..I don’t know we had a lot of things planned and when he comes back I leave for a trip. What should I do? I’m really upset. I cant ask him to NOT go to Miami with his family but now he’ll be having a great time while I’ll be doing nothing for my birthday...what do you guys think?? Would you be upset? We’ve been together over a year btw.
