Fertility dr advice-passing it on

I have been trying to get pregnant and stay pregnant for almost two years now. Two losses (ectopic and natural miscarriage) I was seeing my regular on/gyn who was doing fertility testing/meds and now she has referred me to a fertility only dr, this is what I was told at our first appt.

1. Preseed lube is “expensive goop” yes it’s better than other lubes (ky and pure romance etc. will actually limit sperms mobility) But he recommended vegetable oil or coconut oil

2. Take 4,000iu vitamin d daily, and a prenatal vitamin

3. Use the clear blue advance digital ovulation tests starting day 12 (if you’re using fertility meds it can be false positive before then)

If you guys have visited with your fertility dr and have advice or things they told you to do please share!!!
