Cheating with my BFFs man.

My best friend has had a boyfriend for 7 years. My brother in law’s ex girlfriend slept with my best friend’s boyfriend while they were still together.

She and my brother in law got back together and she lied and said she didn’t do anything with anyone our family knew. Mind you, her boyfriend was my husband’s best friend, and also close with my brother in law. My BIL did some snooping and she admitted to it. My BIL chose to take her back, even though this is not the first time something like this has happened.

I already didn’t really like this girl, but I have made an effort to be kind because she’s “family” but with this new information I’m just kind of over it. I have invited her into my life so many times and she just abuses it. She’s told my secrets, been shady and disloyal in the past, and lies about everything.

My brother in law is insisting that I become friends with her and that I am required to invite her to my baby shower and gender reveal but I’m not interested in pursuing a relationship with her. She called me and said she wants to talk to me and resolve our issues, which I honestly think is pointless because she didn’t sleep with my husband lol I just don’t want to be around her. I think she’s kind of a snake and I shouldn’t be forced to be around her. My brother in law also expects me to let my child around her which my husband and I don’t want. They break up and get back together so much that I am starting to not really care for having anything to do with her.

Am I being unreasonable?
