is proactive worth it?

has anyone tried proactive or even curology and had success with acne/acne scarring ? it’s a lot of money to risk it and i don’t want to waste $$ if it works just as well as a $7 bottle of Neutrogena. thanks!!

No! I had acne the whole time I used proactiv!
I stopped using soap on my face. I use apple cider vinegar with water, tea tree oil & clove oil. Occasional baking soda masks for acne scarring & hyperpigmentation, or just a terry cloth & water to exfoliate, twice a day is probably best if you still have acne.
I don't have acne almost ever now.

Doesn’t work for me. Mary Kay’s clearproof cleanser and lotion are the only thing that have made my acne manageable!

My friend had really bad acne. Ended up at the dermatologist. They gave her meds and creams and did several chemical peels and she does not have 1 mark or scar on her face.

I had awful acne and tried everything, including proactive. It didn’t do anything for me personally but that doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. 
I feel like sometimes its just luck what you come across to clear your acne up, as everyone is so different. 
I started using a face mask from lush and that did the trick for me, it’s £16 a tub but lasts about 2 months, using twice a day. It’s called mask of magnanimity
