Unclear on what to do.

So I’ve been single for a very long time and I was dating a guy last year and it ended after three months because he was too much for me and honestly made me unhappy. Anyway now I am 16 and I’m tired of being lonely and I know that not many young relationships work out but I decided to put myself out there to a guy on my Facebook that went to a school a county over. He’s 18 and recently graduated and we’ve been getting to know each other for over a week and I think he’s cute and funny and I can be patient with him because he works and that’s fine. I’ve never rlly been able to be patient with someone until him. He doesn’t know I think he’s cute or anything, we are just friends sorta right now but I think I might want more but don’t know how to approach that conversation without it being awkward. I low key think he flirts with me sometimes very subtly and I got his number a couple days ago. But we all know guys are very confusing when it comes to feelings and stuff so. Any advice?
