Cartalige piercing

I just got a fresh piercing the 28th of September, so I understand that it will still be tender, but it hurts to lay on and occasionally to touch. It doesn't hurt to clean. What are the pros and cons to using hydrogen proyxide to clean it? Or should I continue using icing cleaning product? (Please excuse my spelling errors)
