26 with PCOS and been trying for a 1 1/2 years

I found out I had PCOS back in 2010 and was put on birth control at that time to help regulate me. It worked once in a while but I didn’t always get a period. Well fast forward to 2018 I got off the pill and I haven’t had a period since on my own. My doctor gave me something that helped me bleed that I took for 10 days every month and told me to diet and exercise to help reset my hormones. I was 160 now I’m down to 130 and got off those pills to see if I ovulate on my own. It’s been a month and still nothing yet and I’m getting kind of worried. I’ve been trying for about a year and a half. We do it almost every day just in case and still no luck. My doctor hasn’t talk to me about the next steps because they want to avoid that as much as possible. But has anyone here had any luck with just diet and exercise? Keep in mind I haven’t had a period on my own since 2009. I went a year thinking everything was fine but since I didn’t get my period that whole year my family was worried and that’s when I found out I had PCOS.
