Omg.. my son has been crying/whining about everything that doesn’t go his way!! it is also a struggle to put him in his car seat because he doesn’t like being in there now!😭 he will scream and wiggle his little butt away. super embarrassing and i’m stressed! lol

If your son is just now starting this, I’m jealous! Haha. Our son took a turn to the dark side probably 4 months ago and it’s just gradually gotten worse for us. Some days he goes back to his sweet self, but most of the time, he’s screaming and yelling and whining and crying. I try so hard to be patient with him, but it really wears on me because it’s basically all day every day. He seems to be getting sweet moments more often lately, so I’m hoping our sweet boy will be back soon, but I’m not holding my breath. We’ve talked to a couple of other people we know with little boys and they said that their sons went through this stage from around 2 years old and it lasted until nearly 4. 😔 Silver lining, once they get through the a-hole stage, they are apparently super sweet and fun!

My daughter is just coming down from what I think was a huge phase of "terrible twos" that lasted like 2 months. She's getting much better at just going with the flow again and not being so moody. She also got her final two teeth, so it could have been that because they took forever! But now she's done for good! Thank God! 😂

My daughter also tries this but she isn't terrible about it. I wonder when she'll get worse...
I try to give her choices she can make while putting just a little emphasis on the thing she can't make a decision about, and then offering her the choice she can make again.
She can choose whether her toy goes into the car seat with her or I can put it away. She can't choose wether she gets strapped in or not. Toy or no toy?
She can choose if she's walking on her own or I'll pick her up. She can't not come. Walking or mama taxi?
It's kind of working for us, and I hope it will stay this way!

Literally the answer to EVERY question is “no” right now. 🤦🏻‍♀️ also, driving anywhere is a huge pain in the ass because she won’t stop asking to go potty (even though she won’t go if we let her out to go 🙄). Yes, terrible. But also, so cute all the things she’s learning!
