So Friday I woke up and my husband was still home, he was supposed to be at work at 5 that morning. I asked what happened and he said he quit his job. Well, he’s the only one with income right now! He wanted me to stay home and finish college since I don’t have much longer left so I could go full time and I have an internship coming up. We also have a joint account, and share money. He told me he had put in his two weeks notice and Friday was his last day (I wasn’t aware of any of this until Friday, AFTER he already quit his job) .. so we ended up getting into an argument but he did tell me he had 2 interviews lined up already. One Monday morning at 8, and one Tuesday afternoon and told me we would be fine because we have a good bit in savings. Well that’s not really the point. I’m hurt and upset that he didn’t even tell me he was planning on quitting his job. Not only that but he’s the only one with income, we have a house and bills to pay I feel it was irresponsible to quit without being hired somewhere else first. Now I feel like I should just cut college down to part time and get a job because how can I rely on someone who did that?!! Am I overreacting?
