Tattoo?!? Pain?!?

Question

So I’m wanting to get a tattoo before my 19th birthday and I’ve decided where I want it(inner arm) and kinda know what design I want (plane and map because I travel a lot) but i don’t know which would look better.. 
any tips on what I could do before and during, and the kind of pain I’ll be feeling?

Inner forearm is way less painful than the outer arm area 
Tattoos will hurt regardless where you get them, but it’s how you personally handle the pain everyone’s different with it

My inner arm didn’t hurt me at all and mine was kinda big, but I also have a high pain tolerance🤷🏽‍♀️

I have 3 tattoos on my inner arms, and mine weren’t very painful. Of course, the closer you get to your elbow or your wrist, it will be. But that’s only because there’s less skin and fat covering there. If you get it in the middle somewhere, it’s almost painless, except for the needles in your arm. My experience isn’t a blanket statement in anyway though. People have different levels of pain tolerance. So, when you get it just breathe through it. When I got my leg tat done, it helped to squeeze a stress ball. Distracting yourself from the pain helps a lot. And when you do get it done, ask for the H2O Ocean brand of lotion. Your tattoo shop might carry it. Sometimes you can buy it from a store- I think CVS or Walgreens might carry it. But that stuff is amazing.

I would recommend combining your fav parts from the tattoo & find things to incorporate into it to make it your own! 😁 really cute idea btw. Also, I have my inner forearm, which I got done about 4 years ago but I definitely remember the upper & inner (more near the bend of elbow area) being more tender/sore. But it’s honestly not too bad.

I tapped out on the inside of my arm and I’m covered in tattoos. Wrist didn’t bother me and neither did the inside of my forearm. But the inner part of my upper arm oooooooouch.

I have 5 tattoos right now. The one on my inner arm was probably the least painful, either that or my shoulder blade.
Honestly unless you cant handle any sort of pain at all, you won't need anything for pain management. That's coming from someone who is a wimp, and cant handle much pain!
Those tattoos aren't big, it'll likely be done before an hour, I find they dont start getting painful until your into your second hour 
The most painful spots are directly on bones, so like your hip, or your rips, or your feet. And for some reason, in dips, so like the dip on your side, and the inside of your elbow and knees
