Is getting a travel system worth it?

Question

Is getting the complete “ travel system “ like stroller & carseat combo really worth it? or should i just do the car seat and get a separate stroller for when i will actually need one? 
We wont really be out much when shes a newborn, and i have an infant carrier for if we do go out anywhere when she is a newborn. 
I’m just looking for what others have used!😬

A million times yes! My daughter HATES when I wear her, so stroller it is. And you're not always going to want to plop her in your babywear, especially if she's sleeping.

I definitely find it worth it for my life style . But now I’m going to have another baby so I’ll have to buy a double stroller . If you don’t plan to use a stroller often then just a car seat . Really depends .

I found that I baby wear WAY more often. I didn’t actually get a stroller until he was almost a year. But I still wear him more than use a stroller and he’s 18 months. I think it’s because a stroller is so bulky (transporting and using in a public space) and I’d rather just have him attached to me. I’m pretty sure he feels the same way

We skipped a travel system and got a modular stroller (comes with a seat and bassinet) and a convertible car seat! It seemed like a waste to me to spend hundreds of dollars on an infant seat that our baby would grow out of quickly. We got the uppababy vista and a Britax boulevard clicktight, and we babywear very frequently. I feel like also a lot of times when people get a travel system they’re unhappy with either the stroller or the car seat, and then it’s a pain to find a different stroller/seat that’s compatible with the one they like

You absolutely need a car seat so having the stroller that goes with it is a must. Besides even if you don’t use it right away you will use it. Some are saying they baby wear but my little girl hates it and fights being that close to my chest unless she is eating. She started pulling her self up to look around practically from day one. It’s a fight to even put her on my shoulder to burp her.

When your baby outgrows the carseat your stroller and carseat are really of no use anymore because why keep a carseat that does fit your babe. Therefore why keep the stroller🤷‍♀️ for me it made more sense to get seperate items

It has been worth it to us because our little guy loves to be outside. We got a Jeep brand stroller with “off road” tires so we can take his stroller pretty much anywhere with no issues. I wore him a lot as a newborn but as he’s gotten bigger he isn’t a fan of being worn and would rather sit up and be able to look around and grab things 😂 so we put him in the stroller and give him a toy and he’s happy happy. It’s nice cause the car seat can click into it or you can strap him in. He loves it either way. And the actual seat of the stroller reclines so if he falls asleep we can lay him back and it’s like a little bed with a shade ❤️

It's definitely worth it for us, but we also are out and about and it's just a lot easier.
