Taking pregnancy tests with SO

I see all of these posts about surprising SOs with the news that your pregnant. Do any of you include your SO in the testing? I always imagined we’d find out together. I mean, I don’t want to pee on the stick with him there, but I hope to see the results together.

Just wondering why so many don’t include SOs in the testing? Is there a logistical reason I’m not aware of?

This is our first month TTC, and we’re in the two week wait so we haven’t done any test taking yet.
