Did sex help you jumpstart labor?

Been having spread out contractions for a while and I’m just ready to get things moving. We just had sex and I swear I’m getting cramping- but I read that it could be just post orgasm contractions and stop. Curious if sex actually worked for anyone

When I was 37 weeks my husband was home for a couple days (he works out of town) and we had sex and went for a hike along the river. My water broke that night. 😂 We always say how lucky it was he was home because it’s a 4 hr drive home for him and they did my c section an hour after I went to the hospital to confirm it was my waters and I didn’t just pee my pants. 😅

Sex broke my water with my eldest lol! Had her 8 hours later

Sex is always what jump started labor for me every single time, without fail. If your cervix and baby are ready I think its a no fail method!

It's the semen that's suppose to jumpstart it. I started having contractions later that night after sex.
