Has anyone broke up with a spouse due to depression?

I’m just wondering if anyone has broken up with a spouse due to depression and end up regretting it. I’ve been going through this and I tried to be supportive and be there for him but he doesn’t want any part of it and said he need’s to be alone to work on himself and he’s not okay. Things have been rough lately, so I feel like it definitely might take time for him to come around IF he does,and up until that day everything was normal to me and I didn’t suspect a thing and I know this isn’t him, and I’m just looking for some similar stories and advice. It happened a little before but I only made things worse by fighting because I didn’t realize what was going on.
