So my boyfriend and I have both been divorced. My ex basically decided he no longer loved me and no longer wanted to try. His ex on the other hand cheated. Repeatedly. He has trust issues now (understandably so). We’re very serious and we’ve talked about getting married but the last few days he just kept saying “maybe” instead so I asked him and he said he’s scared to get married again. I understand that and he says he trusts me but what can I do? I love this man and I do truly hope to marry him one day. I will give him as much time as he needs but I’m a single mom and I do need stability in my life for my daughter. I’m concerned that it may take him years to be ready to marry again and I’m just worried about waiting that long when I have to think about my daughter. But I love this man with all my heart. Is there anything I can do to help him feel comfortable with the idea of marriage again?
