Is anybody else super excited to give birth?!

I am STOKED to give birth! I’m student midwife and nerd out about birth all the time and I’m so excited to finally be in the birth space and get to experience it all. Planning an unmedicated home birth with a midwife (fingers crossed all goes well until then and it remains a possibility) and though I want this babe to stay nice and cozy until their due date, I can’t wait for the actual birth!

This is my second and I had a fantastic water birth with my first and just gas and air. It was incredible. Hoping for a home birth this time too!

I’m doing an Unmedicated home birth as well. I can’t wait to see and feel what my body is meant to do and meet my baby boy.

My first time giving birth couldn’t have gone any better, besides not lasting so long 😂 so I have had a experience so I’m not as worried this time around but more excited. Reading stories make me nervous for what can happen but I just think about the first time and know that it can also go smoothly

I just don’t wanna be pregnant anymore. Lol. I’m not so excited about labor and delivery, but I am excited to hold my baby boy and to get my appetite and body back!

I am so excited! I was induced with my first son so this time I want to experience going into labor and timing the contractions. All that. I really curious to see how my boyfriend reacts to me calling him and telling him my water broke. (This is his first baby) 
What I’m nervous about is my experience with the nurses at this hospital. I had a terrible experience with my first son. They were so rude and took advantage of the fact I was a first time mama. They wouldn’t let me even get out of bed. One even pushed me to get the epidural. I was told to have a birth plan prepared. (It included what I wanted if it was natural, induced, and c-section) they literally threw it on the counter and never opened it. 🙄 one nurse yelled at me because I brought candy. She didn’t even give me time to explain it was for the nurses. It was just terrible. This time I have a midwife and I’m delivering at a different hospital so I’m positive it will be better.

Maybe it’s because I know what’s in store.. but I’m excited to finally have him here! I’m attempting to go unmedicated this time and super nervous 😬 Honestly hoping I wait too long to go to the hospital and don’t have the option of an epidural 😅

I'll be having my third scheduled c-section.  The others were only scheduled the day before and the day of.  So it's interesting knowing this far in advance now.  I'm excited bc they've gone really well for me and I'm super excited for #3 to make his debut!  Also, I was able to plan it to be on my mom's bday, he'll be her 17th grandchild. :-)
