sadness after sex

heyyy so just recently me and my boyfriend have started having sex and pretty much every time afterwards i feel so blue. i know its nothing with him, i love him very much and i always give my full consent. basically the sex is okay and we cuddle afterwards, but when i go home to my own bed i cant help but feel overwhelming sadness. has anyone else dealt with this? or know what it might mean?
