Going back to work after baby?

I work with family. I clean houses with my grandma and originally I told her I was going to take off just a month. I'm 34 weeks today and thinking about it now I don't feel like 4 weeks is long enough....she didnt even think I needed a month off and that I could just take my baby to the houses we clean. So I'm afraid to ask her for more time off with my daughter because I know she'll flip. How soon did you go back after having your child? I feel like I shouldn't have to feel guilty about wanting to spend time with my daughter and learning to be a mom.
