Miracle cure for curly hair :(

First off I don't even know if my hair is wavy or curly

My dad had long wavy hair and my mom had long super kinky curly hair.

My hair has a lot of loose curls on like the bottom layers but the top layers and this one side (see pic below) is just wavy basically straight.

And it's poofy everywhere with split ends even though I just got it trimmed.

Like if my hair is going to be curly I want it to be the cute kinky curls that are tight and springy yanno like Shirley temple curls haha

But rn it's just wild and loose and my mom used to call my hair a rats nets and it really does look like it now 😣

I've tried hair masks and deep conditioning and now I'm using olaplex once a week. It feels a bit softer and I can run my fingers thru it mostly after only using olaplex once but I don't think it's going to solve all my problems
