Producing more eggs?

So I am just starting my IUI process. The issues seem to be with my husbands sperm (14 now at 53 million!) But she did put me on letrozole.  My question is what if i produce a crazy amount of eggs?? How does that work with a trigger shot? They all cant possibly get released and then do the IUI?  Thanks.

I had 4 follicles.... 22, 17, 13, 13 on my first cycle. My doc said it was a great response and that I didn’t need to be monitored! I have been unmonitored the last two... still BFN. This is my last cycle we are doing timed intercourse and planning ivf in August. MFI is very frustrating!

Hello! I did the same thing - IUI with letrozole and a trigger shot (although I didn’t need the shot for the second round which resulted in pregnancy). 
Depending on your fertility provider, they may cancel the cycle if you produce more than two eggs. However, I did have around 2-3 each time maturing, but only one each time reached full maturity. They measure your eggs so often. Additionally, I don’t think letrozole hyper stimulates your ovaries to produce that many. So you should be good.

In my 2nd and 3rd iui cycles I had 7 and 5 follicles. My RE still went through with the cycle because of my history of loss. His rationale was even if multiple eggs fertilized, it was unlikely they'd all stick. Some clinics have strict standards and others do not. It can depend on the clinic and the individual doctor's opinion.

They monitor you. Also if you have more than 4 they will cancel the procedure. Letrozole for me only gives me 3 follicles.

Letrozole does not tend to make a crazy amount of follicles. Your doctor will monitor you and make sure only 1 to 2 are mature when it comes to trigger. Trigger  is just used to time the IUI properly with ovulation.
