New me, new life

I went through a lot for the past 13 years off and on with my daughter's father. It had me in such a bad situation, I thought about committing suicide just to escape. My mother passed away in 2011 and then my Granny in 2014. I have no family left that even try to make sure my daughter and I are ok. She had open heart surgery in 2017 at the age of 4 and I literally had no one to lean on, or to be strong for me except Jesus Christ. Her father and I were still together at that point, well I was with him anyway. Fast forward to this time last year! I decided to take control of my life and never look back. I opted to have the gastric sleeve done. I started out at 306lbs and I am currently 177lbs and maintaining.

Well my daughter's father not only cheated on me but he had 2 children with the same woman. He knew all I ever wanted in this world was to have a big family and be a wife. Well he gave my children to another woman and never made me his wife (thankfulness). I started a new career, walked away from that toxic situation and found myself a new man. A wonderful man whom adores me and would love to give me my deepest desires in life.

He's 22 years my junior but he loves me and I love him. I've never known a love so powerful and so true! We are getting married on Tuesday coming up. I found out that I am also pregnant and it seems to be progressing very well.

I've never been so happy, overexcited, overwhelmed, OMG I just described what I really feel! For all of you ladies who don't think there is a silver lining inside your gray cloud, I'm living proof that there is! Let go of what was and embrace what is and what has to be. I'm 44 years old, marrying my 22 year old love of a lifetime and we have our first child together coming March 4th.
