Anterior placenta?

I had my 13 week ultra a week ago and was told that at the time I had anterior placenta, but that it was too early to know where it will end up. I thought the placenta doesn’t really move, maybe slightly up with the uterus growing?
Has anyone been told early on they have anterior placenta and had it moved before the next scan around 20 weeks? This is my first pregnancy and I was really looking forward to feel the kicks soon!

Just an anterior placenta or is it encroaching on the cervix (placenta previa)? 
Nothing wrong with an anterior placenta. I had one with my first. Images were never affected and it generally just means it might take a bit longer to feel any baby kicks.

Mine was anterior at 8 weeks 5 days! I’m 13 weeks now and won’t find out until 20 week ultrasound if it has moved. I hope it does!

Yes! I had placenta previa at 12 weeks and started spotting, I went in again for 14 week check and the placenta had already moved away.

I had one with my first. Found out at anatomy scan. Had another scan later in pregnancy and it has moved up! As baby grows they should push it up a bit!

I’m currently 16 weeks right around my 13th week I was told I have an anterior placenta I go for my 20 week scan aug 13 so I’m hoping it moved
