Marriage licenses (please read)

Divorce rates are really really high and it seems like no one is staying together for life anymore. Divorce is also very expensive . So should we change the laws around marriage licenses instead of it being forever it would expire in 3-4 years if things don’t work out you just don’t renew it or if you decide to stay together just pay a fee and keep your license or do you like it they way it is
