Any mamas have any experience with a stretch and sweep?

My last son was premature and this Sunday I’ll be 38 weeks, and these additional weeks feel like hell lmao. I’ve been asking my doctor about induction and while she says no, she said she’ll give me a stretch and sweep next week instead to try to get things moving, since I’ve been 3cm dilated for a month.

What are your experiences with this? Painful? Just uncomfortable? How long did it take you to go into labour or did you go into labour at all?
