Chatting away

My baby is 16 weeks old. Until 3 weeks ago he would wake up around 6 in the morning and chat away as I changed his diaper and after eating and just as I had him laying down... 2 weeks ago I returned to work and that first week he stayed with my husband and his mother, the next week he started day care.. I noticed that since the first week I returned to work he doesn’t chat as much.

Anyone experienced anything like that? Anything I could do so he starts chatting again?

The baby is still happy, smiling, calm. he is just quiet.
