Hospital clothes?

Question

For all the non-ftm, what did you wear in the hospital during labor? Or if you are a ftm, what are you planning on wearing?
I'd like to wear my own clothes during labor, but I have no idea what to wear 😬

I wore the hospital gown, I will again. I was pretty much naked by the time I gave birth hha it’s hot and messy. Afterwards I wore light material pjs

I wore the hospital gown. Like someone else said labor is hot and messy and I'd rather feel that way in something that the hospital has to wash and take care of later lol 😂 it just feels that much better when it's all over and you get to have that glorious shower and get in your own clothes. But to each their own I'd just make sure you are wearing some sort of gown that's loose and comfy.

Hospital gown with my first 3. But with my last, all shame went out the window and I got too hot and uncomfortable to wear anything and labored naked. It must not be unusual because none of the nurses seemed surprised. But even if they had, the comfort was worth it and I 10/10 would recommend nude labor to anyone and will be doing it again this time.

Just wear the hospital gown. Otherwise if there are complications, your doctor and nursing staff may need to cut the clothes off of you. Plus it will get ruined anyway. And do you really want to tote home laundry covered in blood, poop, pee, and afterbirth to wash after you just gave birth? The hospital will not wash your personal laundry for you. You would have to either throw it away or take it home to clean.

I thought I would be allowed to wear my own gown, I bought one of those special delivery gowns and everything and the nurse told me when I got there it was going to be a no go. 
I just wore the hospital gown, which ended up working better because I had an emergency C-section anyway!

During labor? The hospital gown. When I arrived at the room the nurse told me to undress and put the gown on. It snaps at the shoulders so when my son was born, a nurse just tore it at the shoulder and laid the baby on my chest. 
I had a maternity nightgown for later, but I don’t think I put it on until the next night or so after I felt well enough to shower and clean up.

During labor it’s a hospital gown unless you are one of those rare people who give birth in the hall on the way to check in. After the birth and you get moved to your room you can shower and wear what you want. For me it’s t-shirts and sweats because it gets cold

I plan on wearing something like this! I know I’ll feel much more comfortable in my own clothes. I hate hospital gowns! Lol
