No friends

I’m 22 and I have a 7 year old son. My SO is 26. I am a full time student but I take most of my classes online to work with my son’s schedule and for work I’m a nanny so I don’t have any co-workers. My SO is very sociable and he’s in the military at the same base he was first stationed at. He has tons of friends here as well as friends back home.

I have moved many times because my dad was in the military as well so I lost touch with a lot of friends from each place we moved from except one, my best friend. I also haven’t really made friends where I live now because of our schedule.

Now that we’re talking about our wedding, I know he is going to want a decent amount of his friends next to him and it’s becoming glaringly obvious that I will only have one. He has tons of friends he wants to invite on top of family and I only have family.

I’m kind of embarrassed that I have no one and I’m become anxious thinking about how to work this out. I don’t want to tell him he can’t have his guys up there with him but I know I’ll feel bad about myself with several guys on his side and no girlfriends on mine.
