please help

okay so i hope this is an okay group to post this in im not really sure where it belongs but i’m basically just looking for advice on how to convince my mom to let me go on birth control? i know i can get it without parental consent and if she still doesn’t agree by then end of summer that’s what i’m gonna do but i would obviously rather be up front with her about it. i’m 16 and i feelblike it’s totally valid to be on bc but my mom disagrees...any advice??
