how late can i be?

i’ve seen some people saying it’s safe to be a few hours late everyday for taking the pill but some who say you’re not protected even after being a few minutes late. i take mine in the morning so sometimes i wake up late. i take it between 7am and 11am everyday and i have never missed a day. am i still protected or do i wait too long between pills?

That window is technically okay but for some people who are more sensitive to those hormones, 3 hours may be enough time for the hormones to start leaving your body. Taking it within 30 minutes of your time is more ideal than 3 hours.

It needs to be as close to the same time as possible. The more you take it off schedule, the less effective it is. I would just start taking it at a time you know you’ll be awake every day.
