birth control changing hair texture?

so ive been on birth control for a bit longer than a year. i started last year feb, and switched to my current pill last year aug. the first pic is from april last year and the second pic is from today. my hair routine hasnt changed at all during this period of time, but my hair has drastically changed. i dont feel as confident knowing my hair doesnt look like it did before. is this maybe a side effect/change of hormones from my pill?

I've had the same exact thing on the pill and the shot. My hair was curlier but more on the wavy side back then. It was also thicker, but ever since birth control my hair is thinner and less wavy.

I had this issue on the last pill I was on! I thought I was crazy because I couldn’t find anything on the pill and hair loss. I mean my scalp would itch so I would scratch and a fistful of hair would come out. It also made my hair less wavy and curly. Which I’m not gonna lie that was a blessing for me because my hair was so wild.
Now that I have my IUD my hair has a little more body to it, but nothing what it used to be. Which again, is a blessing for me. But my hair doesn’t fall out near as bad as what it did on that horrid pill. Hormones are weird 😖

I’ve actually been losing hair lately since starting my birth control, it’s always been way drier than normal. So, I’m with you.

What birth control are you on? I’m having the same problem with my hair. I used to have such thick hair and my hair has thinned out so much and I lose so much hair now.
