33 weeks and bleeding from hemeroids...

The past two days I’ve had VERY painful hemeroids😣 today I looked in my underwear and noticed this. It seems like a lot of blood to me & it freaked me out so I went to the ER and they didn’t even look at them or anything they just checked the baby’s heartbeat and mine and sent me home, no instructions on what to do for the pain or anything. Has anyone else been through this? Is this normal? My next appointment with my midwife is next week, I don’t know if I should wait or call.
